Technical Consultant (VMware, Servers, Infrastructure, Cloud)

Remote – with occasional travel, twice a month possibly to customers, based south of Cambridge.

Salary up to £60K + £5k Car allowance + bonus

My client is growing fast in the digital transformation sector, offering IT/Cloud Managed services, Communications, Print and document management, they are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant with expertise in VMware, Infrastructure and Cloud. Their customers are household names, you will be working in a fast paced environment.

They are progressive and are looking for someone to fit into their team, working on a remote basis, with travel to their customers, usually twice a month, client depending, south of the Cambridge/ London area.

As a Technical consultant you will have:

• Experience deploying on prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong design skills with exp. building LLD’s.
• Background of working within the MSP world as a consultant
• Virtualisation deployment, VMware (preferably) and HyperV
• Exposure to Azure & Office 365 migrations + Exchange Online
• Installation of SAN storage
• Windows Server
• Basic networking & switch configurations skills
• Good Active Directory / Entra ID
• Be customer facing – strong ability to communicate with technical and non technical customers.
